In this announcement, Media Grid announces 3D/VR, which allows the support for multiple 3D graphics formats to be opened in various virtual worlds. This allows designers to "Create Once, Experience Everywhere," meaning they can use whatever 3D design software they want and share their creations with students or colleagues that may use different software. The video below shows a single 3D model (a crab) being viewed in a few of these virtual worlds: realXtend, Open Wonderland, OpenSimulator, Open Cobalt, and Sirikata.
