Attempting to get into Wonderland

Unfortunately, I was unable to get into Wonderland this week. Womp.

The Education Grid

This screenshot shows the bio page for the Education Grid
Here you can find the description of what exactly it is and all of the legal information.
You can find this page here.

Building in Google SketchUp

This post documents my first experiences in Google SketchUp 8
Here, I am watching the instructional videos for beginners on the reference page

Here, I was experimenting with the push/pull tool

Although you can't tell, here I am using "infering" to make sure my parallel edges are the same length

In this picture, and the one following, I am experimenting with the "move" function, which lets you slant the sides

Here is the start (and finish, below) to my first chair... which is really more of a bench...

Team MAG: Group Project

Mike, Allison, and I worked together in EMMS to create a detailed Apollo A7L Spacesuit.  We put together a detailed written tutorial as well as a 3 part video tutorial on how to create the suit.  Here are some screenshots from the process:

Poll: which type of computer

I couldn't  find this poll on the site today, but I had taken it before.

EMMS - Land: Terraforming

Here is a shot of me attempting to terraform.  I didn't want to mess anything up to much so I did a little raising, lowering, flattening, and roughing on one spot here:

EMMS - how to deal with annoyances

I could not find/deal with many of these annoyances.  It seems our menu bar is a little different.  I did, however, find the option to stop animations!
